I agree that runs of games already TASed should not be accepted. The idea is to get runs of new games. Also, it would be better so the runners can start from the same spot.

Good point. Two different runs of the same game in nearly the same length make no sense at all.

My idea is the following:

We have a committee who judges the submissions. In this committee are the most active members as well as all submitters of the contest. Everyone in this committee can vote only once. The run with the most votes wins the contest and gets the prize. We can think about having a second and third place and if it makes sense that the committee got x% and public votes make additional y% or the committee has 100% itself.

I did like the last mix...a comprehensive hack, 2 regulars, and a Japan exclusive. Perhaps it would be a good theme of 3 sub-categories being hopefully represented for whatever the next competitions wind up being?

We can't limit the games...The Player choose you game...RPG, Plataform, Shooter...whatever...
I think choosing a system and the Player choosing your own game is a nice style...

But we can change the rules of the next Contest...
